Trigun first aired in 1995 and is composed of 26 episodes. Adult Swim picked it up in 1998 and has aired repeat episodes at seemingly random since then.
SummaryPlotVash the Stampede is an outlaw in this space-western titled
Trigun, and his head is worth 60 billion double-dollars. His nickname comes from the huge amounts of destruction that hits every town he visits, but the majority of it comes from bounty hunters after his huge price tag. Two insurance agents tag along with him, a mission assigned by their boss to minimize the damage he brings upon cities.
Vash's glasses and hair are signature, and his skills supersede everyone else's. Ironically, his mantra is "peace and love!", he’s a pacifist with amnesia of the only time he did cause problems. The story follows him around as he moves from place to place and runs into hunters and people who know him, who reveal what he did and how. It ends with a confrontation between a force opposite and nearly equal to him, the main villain of the story.
OpinionTrigun is full with memorable characters, and although the tone is mostly light-hearted and filled with comedic events, there are also gripping, unpredictable drama scenes. The fight scenes are some of the best ever televised. It felt like some episodes were dry, but overall, we'd give
Trigun a 5/5.
